Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program
FCHS is proud to collaborate with Humane Ohio to offer a low-cost spay and neuter clinic once a month. All animals are dropped off at our shelter early in the morning. They are then transported by Humane Ohio to their clinic in Toledo and returned to our shelter later that same day.
We are allowed 4 dogs UNDER 45 LBS (2 female, 2 male) and 40 cats (25 female, 15 male). We fill up fast, so be sure to sign up early!Â
Costs
- Indoor Cat: $95.00
- Outdoor Cat: $45.00 (Community, Barn or Stray Outodoor Cats. This includes a rabies shot and ear tip)
- Dogs under 45 lbs: $170.00

Spay / Neuter Day Process
- On the day of surgery, drop off your animal(s) at the Fulton County Humane Society located at 22450 Co. Rd F Archbold, Ohio.
- Drop-off time is 5:45 am for cats and 6:00 am for dogs.
- Animals must be in a hard carrier lined with newspaper or pee pads.
- All animals will be transported to Humane Ohio in Toledo where the spay/neuter surgery will be performed.
- The animals will be returned to FCHS and will be ready for pick-up on the same day.
- Pick-up time is between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.
