Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program
FCHS is proud to collaborate with Humane Ohio to offer a low-cost spay and neuter clinic once a month. All animals are dropped off at our shelter early in the morning. They are transported by Humane Ohio to their clinic in Toledo and returned to our shelter later the same day.
We are allowed 2 dogs:
- 1 female UNDER 45 LBS
- 1 male UNDER 40 LBS.
40 cats:
- 25 females
- 20 males.
We fill up fast, so be sure to sign up early!

Please note that this purchase is NON-REFUNDABLE.
We incur charges even if your animal does not show up. Thank you for your understanding!
- Please ensure your pets are in a hard carrier lined with newspaper or pee pads.
- Only ONE animal is permitted per carrier.
Cost
- Indoor Cat: $110.00
- Outdoor Cat: $55.00
- This includes a Rabies & FVRCP vaccine and 3 months of flea prevention. It REQUIRES an ear-tip.
- Dogs under 45 lbs. : $200.00
Drop Off
Please drop off your animal(s) at FCHS located at 22450 Co. Rd F, Archbold, Ohio.
Drop-off times:
- Cats: 5:45 AM
- Dogs: 6:00 AM
- All animals are transported to Humane Ohio in Toledo, where the spay/neuter surgery is performed.
Pick Up
- Between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM
- They are returned to FCHS via truck for pick-up the same day.
